1. Introduction

This policy describes how PDF One handles information when you use the Android app and this website.

2. Information the App May Access

The source uses Android document and image pickers so users can choose files for PDF tools. Selected files are read by the app for the requested action.

The source uses on-device app storage for generated files, recents, activity, drafts, language and theme settings.

Camera access may be requested for scanning or taking photos. File and media access may be used when you choose documents, images or output locations.

3. PDF and Document Processing

PDF One processes selected documents for the tool you choose. The inspected source did not show a PDF One server upload flow for PDF processing, but the final release build and SDK list should be rechecked before publication.

4. Information We Collect

The inspected source stores app preferences, recent activity, drafts and generated outputs on the device. No configured analytics, advertising, authentication, billing or crash-reporting SDK was found during this review.

5. Third-Party Services

Google Play services / ML Kit Subject Segmentation: Used for on-device background removal. Google Play services may download the model component separately.

Expo and React Native libraries: Used to provide Android app functionality such as document picking, file handling, image picking, sharing and application APIs.

Analytics, advertising, authentication, billing, crash reporting: No configured SDK for these categories was found in the inspected source.

6. Permissions

• Camera: Used when scanning documents or taking photos for tools that need an image.
• Files / media access: Used through Android file pickers and save/share flows so the user can choose documents and output locations.
• Internet: Present in the generated Android manifest. Google Play services may use connectivity for unbundled ML Kit components; confirm final release behavior before Play submission.
• Microphone: Present in the generated Android manifest through native dependencies; no direct PDF One microphone feature was identified during this website review.
• Vibration / overlay: Present in the generated Android manifest through the React Native/Expo build. Confirm final manifest before production listing.

7. Data Sharing

PDF One can share files when you choose Android sharing or save/export options. The inspected source did not identify a PDF One backend used to share personal data automatically. Google Play services may be involved in ML Kit component delivery.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable care in designing app workflows, but no app or device environment can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Keep your device protected and review important outputs before relying on them.

9. Data Retention

Generated files, recents, activity and drafts may remain on the device until removed by the user, cleared in the app where available, or removed by Android/app storage cleanup.

11. Children's Privacy

PDF One is a general document productivity app and is not described as being specifically designed for children.
